ISABELLA
Hi, my name is Isabella Hiscutt!
I'm a 25-year-old Australian freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Canberra. I have loved art since I was little. My mum played such a big part in teaching me about art - she taught me new techniques and styles, helping me in my journey to develop and find my own style.
I just love the skate and surf culture, and I love skating each week with friends. I enjoy going on group skate trips and going on coast trips! I am inspired by all eras of the skate/surf scene and get a lot of inspiration especially from 60s and 70s skate/surf scene. I also get inspiration from fashion styles in the skate scene today, anime, the vibes of different skate groups around the world, girlswirl skate group etc.
Working remotely, I have designed work for skate groups in Bangladesh and Ugandan where I created art for skate decks and t-shirts taking special care to represent their unique culture in my designs.
I most importantly like to put out powerful messages using text or symbolism in my work to help make a difference in the world!
Very grateful for this opportunity to show my love of art, make a difference and be part of the surf/skate culture with the one and only Skitzo crew 🤙

This Isabella Hiscutt collaboration creates a powerful juxtaposition between the beauty of coastal-styled houses in Australia and modern Japanese houses. The name 'Go with the Cove' title represents a love for the beach and the type of calm flow those places have.
If you look close, you'll see an Australian gum tree growing next to the house.
